Ballad of the Rapids | Next

In the heart of winter, the Rapids on the Collie River are an effervescent wonderland. The whole landscape is alive and completely laced with moisture. Ethereal scarves of mist float through the verdant forest, sinking down to meet the frolicking rapids as they surge and swirl downstream. The spirited, and almost deafening, ballad of the river invigorates all the senses. This work was inspired by the all-consuming experience of the untethered energy of these river rapids.
