Upstream from this serene bend on the Collie River, frantic rapids race. Yet, in a remarkably short distance, the river’s momentum transforms from a lively ballad to a silent lullaby. This work is inspired by the result of that transition; the calm after the rapids, the silent assurance that even, after all that chaos, peace is possible.
