Snappy Gums line the hot, sandy banks of the Murchison River as it ebbs and slows, widening into tranquil river pools reflecting a surreal summer daydream, before trickling on through the sun-baked rocks of the riverbed. The perfection of this sun-baked stillness at the Ross Graham Lookout in the Kalbarri National Park was the inspiration behind this work.
