Exhibitions | Solo Exhibition
As an artist my work is constantly inspired by the natural world and the unique light, colours, contrasts and scale of various, wilderness landscapes. I aim to describe through my work not only the sublime beauty of these remote areas but also the deep connection, rare stillness and sense of infinity they possess.
I am passionate about expressing the emotional sense of a place: the impression it leaves on me as an artist and individual. For me it is the mysterious dialogue, or symphony, between landscape and soul.
The work in this exhibition, then, is inspired by a deep connection to place, focusing on translating my emotional response to each of the landscapes depicted. My hope is that the viewer, when engaging with the work, can experience their own emotional connection to this wild symphony of landscape and soul.
